12 May -14 May 2012

The kids in our neighborhood pounce on us as soon as we leave our gates (pictured above). We recently had an impromptu dance party just outside our gate thanks to someone's iPod/Speakers. The kids hear have great rhythm. They were getting down to Michael Jackson's Billy Jean.

On this occasion, we (Nate, Liz and I) collected this many neighborhood friends in the 100 yard stretch from our house to this location where we decided to stop and take a picture.

This is me about to eat a fried cricket. Apparently they are supposed to be a real treat. We all ate one this night as initiation into our African experience. The headlamp is a normal accessory since we have not had the luxury of electricity very often so far.

Mmmmmmm Grubs
